There are tradeoffs when shooting a fixed blade broadhead with slighter blood trails and lesser wound channels. But fixed blade broadheads are known for handling bone, remaining durable, and solid penetration. Can mechanical broadheads bust through a mature buck shoulder? And, if so, how do well do mechanical broadheads survive the "trauma" of hitting a shoulder? In today's episode, Jacob shares the results from his recent field test where he shot the 125 grain versions of the Beast broadhead, a Rage Hypodermic broadhead, a Sevr 2.0 broadhead, and a T2 broadhead into 4 separate mature buck shoulders.
