In this week's episode I have Jacob Coons of the Hunt Detail podcast on to discuss the tactics we like to utilize during the month of October. We discuss finding isolated food sources, like preferred feed trees. We also discuss identifying habitat and terrain traps to see more deer using a limited food source. We talk about keying in on specific feed trees, even when there's an absolute bumper crop of acorns. Jacob and I discuss around what time of the month we like to start transition to a more "Pre-Rut" style of hunting, and what that looks like for us.
