Where did the Leopard Dog come from? That is a question we may never know the answer to. Were Leopard Dogs and Plotts crossed? While opinions differ, today’s author proposes that is exactly what happened. On the quest to make the best bear dogs in the land, there are lots of twist and turns. But to sculpt a masterpiece a sculptor must use a combination of the finest materials and the highest quality of tools. Building a bear dog is no different. It takes the keen eye of the sculptor to seek out the greatest raw material and then work his magic. Did Henry Plott have the same vision in mind for the Plott dogs?
