I sat down with Mason Norman, Retay ambassador and part of the Mossy Oak and Drake family, for a conversation that goes way beyond hunting.
We talked whitetails, ducks, turkey hunting, gear, the outdoor industry, and the experiences that keep us coming back to the woods and water. But more importantly, we talked about Jesus, faith, family, and what it really means to live a life centered around God while doing what you love.
Mason brings a real perspective to the conversation, and there was no script and no trying to make everything sound perfect. Just two outdoorsmen talking about the things that matter—from chasing big deer and sitting in a duck blind to understanding that hunting can be about something much bigger than pulling the trigger.
Sometimes the woods teach you lessons that you can't learn anywhere else.
Sometimes the best conversations happen sitting around talking about the hunt.
And sometimes hunting reminds us to slow down, appreciate what we've been given, and give God the glory for it.
