After meeting Dustin at the Dive Bomb Festival in St. Louis, I knew we had to get him on the We Do This Too Outdoors Podcast. This Maryland-born waterfowl hunter brings serious passion, strong opinions, and a whole lot of personality to the conversation—and when it comes to RETAY USA, he's all in!
Dustin joins us to talk about growing up hunting the Chesapeake Bay, his passion for RETAY shotguns, and why reliability matters when you're deep in the marsh, the temperatures are dropping, and the ducks are finally working. We get into shotgun performance, natural point of aim, waterfowl hunting traditions, and why he believes hunters should put a RETAY in their hands before judging it.
And yes… we get into the other shotgun brands, too! Dustin doesn't hold back when defending a brand he believes in, and some of these conversations had us rolling.
But this episode goes deeper than shotguns. We talk about sharing knowledge instead of keeping secrets, bringing more people into the blind, making memories with friends and family, and passing our outdoor traditions down to the next generation. We also touch on the challenges hunters face as access to hunting land continues to get tougher.
