The Sportsmen's Nation is pleased to release it's first short film. This film showcases an Iowa family whose annual spring gathering revolves around turkey hunting in the month of April. As you will see, hunting may be the focus but it always takes a backseat to family. The outdoors can be a powerful thing, and when we get the opportunity to share it with the ones we love, it makes that experience much more enjoyable. A morning that all elk hunters dream of... Bugling bulls, close encounters, and a well placed shot. Chris and Bob spend a morning bowhunting elk on public land in Montana. Chris played the quiet game with this bull by only cow calling a handful of times. The last call was with the bull at least 200 yards away. Chris decided to go quiet and press in a little further. Bob kept the video focused and watched an epic hunt unfold right before him. Great shot and great bull, Chris!

Dan and his father-in-law "Big Loo" took advantage of a beautiful Iowa day and went fishing for largemouth bass on some country farm ponds. The fishing started off really slow until Dan changed to a brighter bait and quickened the retrieval, then the fish really started to bite. They fished 3 different ponds and caught close to 30 fish between the two of them. Three of them were close to or over 4 lbs.
