The Basics of Building an AR & Suppressor

Show Notes

This week on the Missouri Woods & Water podcast the guys drive over to the St. Louis area and sit down with Cameron Tinker of Midwest Gun Works to talk about the basics of an AR build. For a lot of normal people, building an AR is an intimidating thing, but if you know some key things it can actually be a very fun process and get you an AR that is truly what you are looking for as opposed to buying a stock AR that may not be the best fit for your needs. Cameron goes through most of the things the average person needs to know when they are thinking about building an AR. From things like barrels, barrel lengths, triggers, uppers, lowers, handguards, stocks; you name it and Cameron talks about it. After discussing AR builds, Cameron and the guys get into suppressors. We discuss things like the stigma suppressors have had over time, the benefits of them, and the process of how to purchase a suppressor. Today's show is packed full of great information. Thanks to Midwest Gun Works for their hospitality for us guys and some great information for our listeners.
