Hunter Roenfeldt, co-host of the Duck Gun Podcast, joins Brian on the show. Hunter grew up hunting in Iowa near the Mississippi River with his Dad. We talk about what it was like learning to waterfowl hunt in that part of the country. We discuss his experiences with the boats they have used over the years on the Mississippi, the type of ducks they chase there and his love for Canvasbacks. We chat about how he became the co-host of the Duck Gun Podcast and also how he got involved in the Duck Gun Chronicles YouTube channel. We also get into his multiple season grind that averages over 50 hunts per season. And of course we dive deep into his tactics and tips that keep him successful over a 50+ hunt grind.
