The Weight We Carry

In the final installment of The Becoming Series, Jeremy takes a step back from the pursuit and asks a bigger question: What are we actually leaving behind? Looking back on memories of hunting and growing up with his dad, Jeremy reflects on how hindsight changes the way we see the moments we once took for granted. We’re never guaranteed another hunt, another conversation, another opening morning, or another ordinary day with the people we love. But we are fortunate to still have the opportunity to make new memories—and sometimes, the moments we don't recognize as significant while we're living them become the ones we treasure most.

Jeremy also gets personal about fatherhood, the pressure he puts on himself to be more and give more to his daughters, and what it means to look in the mirror and wrestle with the man you're becoming. Maybe legacy isn't about doing more, accomplishing more, or leaving something impressive behind. Maybe it's about being present, showing up, and leaving something good in the people we love. As the series comes full circle through preparation, identity, consistency, resilience, and finally legacy, Jeremy asks the question that may matter most: What are you becoming and what will remain because you were here?
