On this episode of the Nomadic Outdoorsman Dan talks with Bryan Dunlap from Michigan about strategies for hunting mature whitetails that you won’t hear from most hunters.
Bryan hunts a 200 acre farm in Michigan that only produced 1 1/2 year old whitetail bucks for years. Through food plots, patterning and and a strategy that he refers to as conditioning Bryan has been able to successfully select and harvest 4 1/2 year old and older bucks in a heavily pressured area. This is a long strategy session that is worth the listen for any whitetail hunter. If you hunt pressured areas, enjoy using your hunting land for more than whitetail or just can’t seem to connect with your target buck listen closely as Bryan shares some outside the box strategy for targeting mature whitetails.
