On this episode of The Western Rookie Dan talks with serial entrepreneur Will De Rover about his passion for bear hunting which he developed after purchasing a bear hunting outfitter.
Will is 24 years old and grew up in Southwestern British Columbia, Canada. Will has been part owner of Beartrack Outfitters in Manitoba, Canada since 2018. He jumped into owning a bear hunting outfit having never bear hunted and has been learning the ins and outs of hunting Canadian black bears ever since. His love for bear hunting and conservation spurred him on to start Bearbeans Coffee in 2021 where he gives 10% of the income back to bear research, habitat improvement and conservation. His background as a hunter and hunting outfitter has deepened his knowledge of just how vital hunters are to the conservation of wildlife. Dan and Will discuss everything bear hunting and traveling internationally to hunt.
