Setting Yourself Up for Rut Success w/ Ryan Glitsky

Show Notes

Hey everyone, welcome to episode 145 of the Antler Up Podcast!

On this week's episode Dimitri and I were joined by PA native Ryan Glitsky.  Ryan is a true woodsman and a very successful whitetail hunter.  Ryan spends a ton of time in the timber and has had a ton of success hunting the rut over the years.  It is a perfect time to have Ryan on and talk about some rut topics.  These topics include what Ryan contributes to his success during the rut, how his hunting strategy from October with hunting scrapes and security cover switches a little to hunting over terrain features and the importance of doe bedding.  Ryan mentions the importance of finding deer concentration and how post season scouting sets you up for success, adapting and not worrying about pressure and a heck of a lot more is packed in this episode to get you ready for a fun and successful rut!

Ryan also dives into what sign is good enough to set up on, when an all day sit needs to pivot, using historical camera data and scouting data will help you during the early part of the rut and what obstacles a hunter should try to avoid!  Best of luck out there and Antler Up!
